Open Defaults under Settings. Defaults reduce repeated setup for future books.
Available sections include:
- Default language for new ideas and briefs.
- Default book structure for fiction and nonfiction pages.
- AI content formatting for nonfiction prose.
- Author & back-matter defaults such as author information and reusable closing pages.
- Extra sections (AI-generated) where available.
- Default cover style for fiction, nonfiction, and digital products.
- Export covers to choose whether covers appear in supported exports.
Defaults apply to new work. Existing briefs and books keep their saved settings unless you change them in the relevant editor or formatting panel.
